StudioBauhaus, founded by Konstantinos Vassilaros & Orfeas Peretzis, produces and supports visual arts projects ranging from fiction filmmaking, documentaries, promos, installations, and animation. It offers full production and creative services, with a high range of creative and talented collaborators, to produce films as well as stylised factual entertainment.
Vardis Marinakis’ (Black Field, 2010) sophomore film “Zizotek”, a drama-adventure set in the forest will premiere at 2019’s KVIFF in competition; while Pantelis Makkas' video art project "Antistoli", produced with the support of ERT SA, will premiere as an installation piece at the prestigious Athens & Epidaurus Festival in summer of 2018.
We're in development for Orfeas Peretzis’ debut fiction feature “Riviera”, Araceli Lemos' "Holy Emy" in co-production with Mezzanine Films (FR), Red Carpet Films (BG) and LA-based, Nonetheless (US), and Orfeas Peretzis debut feature "Riviera" (MIDPOINT FEATURE LAUNCH).
We took upon the post-production for the weekly television series "Keimena", a documenta 14 Film Program on ERT2, airing on Mondays at midnight from December 19, 2016 to September 18, 2017.
Konstantinos Vassilaros collaborated with producer Hugh Welchman, and Breakthru Films from September 2015 to November 2016 in running the Greek unit of 25 trained painter-animators for the unique and now Golden Globes and Oscars nominated animation feature “Loving Vincent”.
Orfeas Peretzis’ first feature doc “Into The Centre of the Wheel”, an existential essay film focused on the process of an amateur actor theatre group, was released in the cinemas in Athens in October 2017 by NEO FILMS.
4 short films were also produced in less than 2 years, successfully funded by an online crowdfunding campaign, the Greek Film Centre, newly formed pitching forum Athens Film Lab, and ERT respectively.
